Surgeon to Re-do Surgery
I noticed nobody posted to your question yet. I honestly don't know if he would but I am going to be having surgery with Dr.Snyder. I can't imagine a better doc in Colorado. I will warn ya though that he will have to go to one of his conferences before he can be seen by Doc Snyder. That is a requirement. But, you might want to call the office and ask them. I know when I went to the nutrition class there was a lady there that had severe problems with her lapband and Doc Snyder was going to be re-doing it. So, its always worth a try anyway. Hope you get the answers you are looking for. Lisa
Dr. Chea does revisions. I had VBG in 1999, and I'm having a RNY this summer.

I had my RNY by "Dr. Thomas Brown" of colorado bariatrics, and I overheard a couple people in there I think having revisions from other procedures long long ago.
Might be another avenue to check out. And you meet with him the first day. I called ahead for my appointment for a consultation, within the next week I was up there, met with the nutritionist, psych eval, finance person, nurses for a general checkup and medical history, and then Dr. Brown himself for a while. Whole thing took 3hours+ and was very thourough. I liked the atmosphere.
On a side, is your BF sticking to the rules? Is he back to drinking pop, or having burgers and such?

I was thinking calling Dr T as well. I see he does take Medicare so I'm sure Eileen would know if he qualified. He had the Lap band back in the 80's and I believe didn't have the support he needed to keep it off. We have talked about it and he is willing to check it out. And with me around I'll make sure he does eat what he is suppose to.
I've getting my revision done by Dr. Chae. He seems wonderful.

i had a VBG (Stomach Stapling) done in 1999 by a general surgeon, and was sent home with no instructions at all. Needless to say, I lost some, but in the long run I wasn't sucessful. Dr. Chae is very experienced, and with the Kaiser classes and support, i feel that this time I will succeed. (I never even knew not to drink pop....)
